Minneapolis-based SHAPESHIFT is a hip-hop/contemporary storytelling dance company that uses a fusion of dance styles to create powerful theatrical productions which tackle issues of social justice, loss, love and human emotions. The company has performed in renowned venues such as The Kennedy Center, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Xcel Energy Center, and Cowles Center for the Performing Arts. Formed with groundbreaking intent, SHAPESHIFT engages dancers, choreographers, students and teachers who share an interest in developing and promoting the fusion of contemporary and hip hop dance styles as an art form.

SHAPESHIFT partnered with Minneapolis-based All Square to make a dance film showcasing the restaurant and SHAPESHIFT. All Square is a sandwich shop dedicated to social justice, offering their formerly-incarcerated employees a professional-development fellowship and a new start. All Square was recently named as one of Time Magazine`s 100 Greatest Places 2019. Check out the video at:
