Thank you again for the opportunity to work with Booking Dance Festival the past two months. I have tremendously enjoyed my time. Working directly with artists and gaining an understanding of the business side of dance was both enjoyable and enriching; the BDF internship has left me with a deeper knowledge of how to support businesses' and institutions' presentation of artists as well as my own creative career as a dance artist. Beyond that, I learned a great deal about audience engagement, press and marketing best practices, and client relations. I feel empowered to move forward in my career both as an artist and arts administrator/marketer.
