With mesmerizing concentration and kinetic dexterity, Arcane Collective pushes the boundaries of conventional contemporary dance. The production invokes an unprecedented theatrical engagement that carves its way into the lasting psyche of its audience. Founded by Morleigh Steinberg and Oguri, Arcane Collective is a dance co-op of international artists from interdisciplinary backgrounds that alter the perceptions of the body, space and time. Their movement vocabulary is simultaneously arcane and profoundly universal. Their hybrid of cultures and aesthetics creates work that is visually compelling and refined theater.
Throughout their independent dance careers, Steinberg and Oguri have worked together on varying productions, in varying roles, in both dance and film, for over twenty years.  In the spring of 2011, they formed a platform company for presenting their work, independently and together, under the auspices of ARCANE COLLECTIVE.

Caddy! Caddy! Caddy!-  William Faulkner Dance Project

An epic and abstract portrayal of William Faulkner's novels “The Sound and the Fury”, “Absalom, Absalom”!, and “A Rose for Emily”. Faulkner's stories unravel through different characters interweaving in a nonlinear and compelling composite- a rich and studied blur of life. With a live sound score and dynamic set of an expanding nexus of multi-colored threads, the production is an unforgettable breathtaking experience.
