Founded in 2002, The Royal Moscow Ballet is led by renowned dancers Anatoly Emelianov and Anastasya Emelianov. Hailed as `breathtaking` by Barre Citizens Voice, with roots in classical ballet, the company has a wide repertory of full-length story ballets in addition to thrilling contemporary works. The company holds the honor of being the first Russian ballet company to tour to east Africa, visiting countries such as Tanzania, Zambia, and Kenya as well as frequent tours to South Africa. Each year, the company gives over fifty performances of works from its classical and contemporary repertory while touring throughout Russia and abroad.
