Oath-Midnight Rain
Oath-Midnight Rain explores Buddhist Samsara, the cycle of death and rebirth and the liminal moments between night and day, between black and white, between ending and beginning. Through a series of extraordinary solos in magnificent costumes, the work personifies flowers, birds, fish, insects, and grass, which are representative elements with far-reaching cultural meanings and profound symbolic significance in traditional Chinese culture. The choreographer seamlessly integrates traditional Chinese movements with contemporary aesthetics. Great tension is achieved in the stage images. This profound work is a sophisticated blend of contemporary dance and Chinese imagery and is considered a masterpiece in China, performed monthly at the Peking Opera.

Blooming of Time
Based on the 24 solar terms, the Blooming of Time vividly portraits the stories of the creatures in 12 chapters throughout the course of the four seasons. Blending with the choreographer`s carefree imagination and vivid storytelling, this dynamic full-length work promises a night of extravaganza of dance. The audience is invited to take a closer look at the joy and sorrow and feel the heartbeat and the pulse of the creatures as their lives and stories unravel before us.
